“It was confirmed to us that all the alliterative nicknames on the 7/17 Raw were a directive from Vince McMahon. It wasn’t pushed nearly as hard on Smackdown on 7/21 or Raw on 7/24, so it looks like it was just an idea he had (and that most thought was bad) and he gave up on it after.”
While the usage of nicknames has seemingly been toned down, some of the monikers have stuck including “Dirty” Dominick Mysterio and “Big” Bronson Reed.

WWE’s 77 year old Chairman is said to be recovering after a successful 4-5 hour procedure last week.

Sources told the site that the 77 year old Chairman of WWE (until the Endeavor deal is finalized, at which point he will be Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings) underwent major spinal surgery last week.
