Uh... @Race Jones Haven't read the whole thread yet, but you do know that 800k is for voice work on a cartoon, right? If you look that shit up, that's a damn good deal. It's not a stand-up special. Plus, she's gonna be like a producer on the show or sumin. Which is even more awesome.

I think you forgot to read the fine print. If someone stated this in the following pages, my bad. Lol.

Nah. On this topic, you're absolutely wrong. Voice work for a cartoon is not equivalent to a stand-up special.

Tom Hanks got 10 mill for voice work on Toy Story. Amy Schumer got 13 mill for a stand-up special. You mean to tell me that that unfunny, joke stealin', uglass bitch is worth more than one of the greatest actors of all time? In an established, animated blockbuster franchise?

Steve Carrell got 500k for Despicable Me. And this is AFTER the success of The Office, 40 Year Old Virgin, and Anchorman.

My point is: In Hollywood, all work is not created equal. And while voice work CAN BE lucrative, it doesn't compare to the more traditional methods of acting.

Tiffany got a dope deal. You can try to spin that shit however you'd like, but it is what it is. If anything, it just shows you how low they think of Monique. Her stand-up ain't even worth an up and coming comedienne's voice over work.

I gave you actual numbers that show you the value of voice over work for cartoons. And I used white men as the standard! They're the status quo, for heaven's sake. And Tiffany is getting more for her work than Steve Carrell got for his. Along with production credit.

One of the girls who did Elsa's voice in Frozen only got a lousy G, and that movie made a billion dollars.
