I know I'm not everywhere on the board like I used to be but where are the threads about black male rappers and their problematic lyrics and how they influence the kids or whatever detrimental shit y'all try to use against Meg, cardi, etc..
Without searching,I can think of at least 3 (there are more) threads about Lil Nas X and his trolling. Y'all wanna discuss that from here to Bolivia though.
Why can't ya'll ever be honest about y'all's intent when having these discussions? Whatever threads y'all make about male rappers usually are about goofy shit they've said or done that have nothing to do with the lyrics y'all gladly quote on the daily.

The question was why aren't black men criticized on here for they're music and my answer was and still is "...because they've already been demonized for it everywhere else."

At the end of the day, black men have been criticized for the negativity in rap for decades now. It's disingenuous to act like there is some double standard there because you don't see a ton of topics on ABW about a subject that has been done to death and beyond.

Yeah people don't bash women rappers for talking about sex, dressing a certain way, having explicit lyrics while also bashing them for being boring and not getting naked enough. Nobody says things like "if she not naked I don't care what she's talking about". Nah nobody says that stuff about women rappers at all. Speaking specifically to Meg niggas haven't spent the past year and change making jokes about her being masculine because she's not petite and demure at all. Nope never seen any of that

I don't know that I've ever seen a thread made specifically to address the troublesome lyrics of male rappers, but we have had threads where troublesome lyrics became a topic. For example, we've had several discussions about how fucked up it is that these rappers keep using their music to promote and push street beefs. This thread did not start off being about Meg's troublesome lyircs. That's just where the conversation led. It's no different.
lol Really bruh. So now you just going to conflate everything said about female rappers as if it's the same thing. We're talking specifically about the negative aspects of the music. Some nigga saying he thinks women rappers are boring or aren't interesting unless they are half naked might be fucked up things to say, but it's not what is being discussed. Or at least it's not what I'm discussing.
And no, people don't make those other criticisms about women rappers to the same degree that they do about male rappers. If you're going to get on here and lie about that, have at it, but I see no point in discussing blatant untruths.

If you wanna speak about the negative aspects of their music that gets criticized then just go back one summer ago when Meg and Cardi released WAP and all the fans who have no problem bumping male rappers talking about endless groupies and fucking all of a sudden became puritan church group leaders concerned about the children being exposed to sexually explicit lyrics and videos. The shit was literally being discussed on national news outlets and had politicians commenting on it. Or is that not a high enough level of criticism?

No harsh judgement was needed, just an understanding on who people were and where they were coming from. If you were a whore, you were simply a whore. Growing up in Brooklyn I met and KNEW women who would PROUDLY say that they were whores. They were making their money with no shame. Now if I called a regular working chick a whore then that would be a different story. See what I mean? You can blame 90’s rap music for that. Cause niggas was calling EVERY woman a whore and rappers were giving real whores a bad name lol
