Welcome To aBlackWeb

Its the writing of the villain more than the actress herself

fair. Whole time im thinking like yo instead of going after specific planets you know gonna bring heat why not target some low key planets that have the same resources you need lol

She made it personal cause she hates Carol. Targeted the Skrulls, targeted the planet where Carol is married to the prince, targeted Earth

I was checking the Candyman thread to see how people felt about Nia's other film and @Ironman said Candyman suffered due to studio interference and removed scenes and it seems like it happened to her again lol
Damn so it did happen again?? Yeesh she has terrible luck so far

Thought it was great. Only complaint is the villain. Her story, look, etc. just didn't work for me

I actually really liked the fangirl thing the kid had with Captain Marvel. Even the short musical scene was cool

Why was Monica the one that had to absorb the powers and then fix it? I was expecting Carol to have to be the one doing that

Also Monica looked great. Damn lol

Too much kee keeing from you. If wanna shoot me shoot me. Don’t hide behind other niggas attempted jokes. Niggas shit don’t even be funny, and you laughing. Watch yaself. Ima have to put you with them other niggas.
I laughed at it b 🤷🏾‍♂️

It is what it is

It's never personal

You tough right?!?

I'm curious what drove people away because I thought this would be a hit. I mean the villain in the trailer didn't seem great (and ended up not being good) but I didn't think that alone would make people not want to see it. I never saw the Kamala tv show so don't know if that sucked
