Welcome To aBlackWeb

the great power shit got explained in homecoming and is why dude decided to be Spider-Man in the first place.
No it didn't. Honey stark fed him a line in the vein the "great power" speech but worded much differently when he scolded peter after the ferry incident

so niggas hate seeing a teen Peter over and over but wanna see Ben get merked a 3rd time? Y’all niggas stay trippin lol
If they're gonna keep making high school Peter movies then they gotta keep showing Uncle Ben, these movies the equivalent of Thomas and Martha Wayne not getting shot but having another character be the driving force of Bruce becoming a good Batman

You realize that the very last live action Batman reduced the whole “his parents were shot & killed” to a mere couple of seconds in an opening montage right?

We don’t need to go through the same shit over and over again. If you don’t kno this origin by now that’s not the director or writers problem. Im guessing they are gonna use this new animated show to fill in the blanks and we probably will get poor uncle Ben gettin gunned up & clapped.

it was also always the MCU’s goal to treat Peter like Harry Potter in that we watch him grow up as a teenage Spider-Man to an adult. We are halfway there. Let these niggas live….

I’m not saying that Garfield is the best Spider-Man, im just saying they gave him a better Peter Parker/Spider-Man story to tell than they did with Tobey.

Did toby showcase Peter Parker’s wit? His intellect? Emotional struggle with being Spider-Man? Fuck no.

but he’s the first movie Spider-Man that we know so there’s that.
Uh yeah he did struggle emotionally. All three spider man eras capture the essence of Peter Parker in some way. The dynamic between Peter and spiderman is when spider man wins peter loses and vice versa.. Being spiderman is a gift and a curse and it causes problems in Peters personal life. Either his friends and family suffer from it, ant may getd attacked. Goblin gets killed and his best friend loses a father which creates a beef with his best friend and his alter ego. It causes relation ship problems. He cant let the girl he loves in on his life in the beginning amd most of all he struggkes with the guilt of not stopping the man who killed his uncle when he could of.

In the amazing spiderman peter had to deal with his angst and anger after his uncles murder. He gains bruises from getting beat up while looking for the man who killed uncle ben and it causes aunt may to worry. He his girlfriend is the police captain who is hunting. spider man and when captain Stacy finds out he burdens peter with staying away from Gwen and he's haunted by this in part 2. his friend Harry is dying and only spiderman blood can save him . his girlfriend is going off to oxford etc..

In the mcu in the beginning it seems like he had low emotional stakes but if you look closely he worries about keeping his identity secret to protect aunt may. He gsins popularity with his peers and the girl hes crushing on as spider man but still loses as Peter as seemln i. The party scene. He wants to protect his neighborhood from dangerous alien weapons but tony doesnt take it seriously and happy won't listen. He genuinely wants to protect the people and not prove hinself or get glory. He ditches the athletic decathelon to stake out vulture and although he saved the lives of his classmates and countless others he winds up in detention. These are just high school problems but after the avengers tie ins and the snap in far away from home we the the burden of spiderman is starting to weight a littoe more heavy on. It starts at his press conference at f.e.a.s.t when the public starts hurling questions about avengers and the thanos incide t he he has a little PTSD frok it. Hes on vacation and he wants to take a break from spider man and hook up with my so he leaves the suit home. He gets framed for murder and his secret identity is revealed to the world. No way home the burden real be really heavy.
