Making Your Good Deeds Public

i think giving a few dollars to someone homeless is not giving back....thats giving a few dollars to someone homeless.

giving back is going back to those who once shared a common demographic and helping them build themselves up with your time and/or resources.

the title is about good deeds

giving money to the homeless is a good deed

this why nobody likes you

I put dollars on mine, ask Columbine
When the Twin Towers dropped, I was the first in line
Donating proceeds off every ticket sold
When I was out on the road, that's how you judge Hov, no?
Ain't I supposed to be absorbed myself?
Every time there's a tragedy, I'm the first one to help

we in the same boat ap.......not a nigga can stand you. and most of them want to run the fade with you.
but anyway.......while thats what the title said it was a spinoff of giving back.....

Personally im not the type to talk about the shit that I did or doing. As a person who is always helping the people around him, I actually feel uncomfortable when the people I helped talk about me helping them.

With that said though, the fact that a person got helped is the important thing. Even if you help someone or do a good deed for selfish reasons, someone still got helped.

The fact that someone got helped is the most important part.

well tbh, he also said

"They call me this misogynist, but they don't call me the dude
To take his dollars to give gifts at the projects"

they quick to talk about any negativity while ignoring the positivity

All them bars were cringe worthy especially when the context was I do all this good shit so how can yall pick Nas over me.

well, its funny that you take this stance, but if im wrong, apologies in advance b/c i honestly do not remember

but werent you one of the ones chiming in on how dudes record themselves giving stuff to homeless people as a gripe?

if not, i apologize, but why record it? if your intentions are pure and the person you did the deed for is genuinely grateful, shouldnt that be enough over pats on the back from internet strangers?

I think that was Race, but I did agree with her.

I don't mind anyone speaking on their good deeds IF it isn't harming or disrespecting someone.

Giving a homeless man/woman food and recording them eat it with a cam in their face is tasteless.

As long as you're not putting people on blast or putting people's personal info out, I don't see anything wrong with anybody speaking on their good deeds.

Like i said a few pages back, to me the real sick mfs are people who can actually find something negative to say about somebody doing good for their community and talking about positive shit.

It takes a special kind of hate in your blood.

It dont gotta be hate though.

I posted those Jay Z lyrics for a reason. In that song he was dropping all the good deeds he did to get people to like him. If you come through and give me a list of your good deeds and then say thats why youre better, im gonna look at you funny.

End of the day, people getting help is good. No one is debating that. But the way you chose to make it public can lead to negative reactions.

Personal preference bruh. No right or wrong here. Same reason why you probably judge motherfuckers for some shit I wont judge them for.

I came up around the thought that you shouldnt publicly talk about how you helped people, so I go off that.

but what if thatr person was asked?

what if that person was challenged about what they are doing positive?

i think my problem with this silence is that........again like i said.

we as black men are given everyones ass to kiss.
we are always told we are worthless, gangbanging , raping and pillaging want nothing daddys who dont see their kids and destroy everything we touch and dancing to mask our pain.

so the fact someone is speaking on what they do to say fuck you to the image that the media and the few black women that agree with the media....them speaking on it should not even be a bad thing.

the silence gives them control of the narrative.

kids follow what they see and hear.
if they see someone helping....they may follow.
if they hear someone is helping...they may follow.

while i understand what people are saying....we are not everyone else.
we are looked at as the bottom of the barrel and the worse people on the planet.

last thing we need is to try to silence one of us who goes out his way to help us.

smdh

niggas will share chicks nudes before they spread positivity pertaining another man who is helping our people.

whats the harm in sharing what you do?

Bruh, if someone directly asks you about something specific, you answer it.

Come on now.
but that person is still speaking on it.

so ....do you have a problem with someone speaking on something when its unprovoked?
