there's a difference b/t someone asking you "Dos, what have you done for your community"

ok....all that if it wasnt for me shit........thats not needed. i get that. but how many people say shit like that?


and why cant someone use the second sentence without all the other shit......why cant that be the start of a conversation or potential building?

So every answer definitive? No such thing as nuance? Different answers for different circumstances.

If someone calls you a bitch, is it right to call that person a bitch back? What if a 8 year old called you a bitch? You gonna go tit fot tat with a child?

Shit specifics and circumstances can justify murder.

tell you the truth.......i honestly dont think about it.
if someone was to say something.....i look at it more like thats whats up or thats what you should do as a decent person.
i have yet to hear someone speaking on some shit and take it as they braggin or negative.
i just dont see things that way.
but what does stand out is when people do dumb shit and shit to mess things up for others.

now that i think more about it....

the second sentence is less about helping with a good deed and more about a person seeming to want to shit on someone.

however, i wouldnt use the IC as a measuring stick as a lot of posters have really matured since then and not on that shit no more

so the bar is kinda low if you using it as a comp

this site here has been about positivity since day 1 and has only been magnified since
 
Not my cup of tea, for instance on GoFund me pages, Ive donated money few times and never left my name... Ive cringed when I see people leaving their names... IMO either you do it because you want to or feel its the right thing to do, in which case why make it public???

Each to their own though, if you are still doing good deeds fair play even if you make it public, at least you are doing something positive in the world...

Now that I had more time.
It would depend on the tone.
A person can say this in a shocked but glad I was there type of way. And not really trying to shit on anyone.
