Explain what a good deed is? Is it like when Meek Mill made that bum work for $20? Or just giving away stuff free of charge? If so I'd rather not partake and either or.

I've been in need before, and while help is always appreciated... It's kinda embarrassing when mad people know...

Ummm I don't think when people mention a good deed they done they point out who they did it for.
That's just crazy and i could understand the embarrassment a person could feel. Bad enough they are in a place to need it...they don't need the world knowing.

Good passage.
But I have read the bible and its a book on doing the right thing , waiting on hope and hoping prayers get answered and controlling chaos.
We can not use the bible in this manner because we as black people been praying to be saved for hundreds of years only to be set back by those who claim to be messengers of that same word.
We are so desperate for a savior and a win that its people who are saying and comparing Nip to Jesus.
That speaks volumes.
So in this case we need to not follow the great books teachings. Because most people don't follow it any other time.

IMO its all about how the person chooses to make said actions public. In some videos people post or even news stories you can tell the person or people who were the recipients of said good deeds were not comfortable with being on camera, embarrassed by being on camera or both.
It's like some times the person doing the good deed only thinks of themselves and their goal in making things public. Did they ever think the person is ashamed they homeless, need food and/or clothes, etc? What their faces being on news or internet might mean to their kids at school or in the neighborhood now?
It's a lot of shit that goes into making things public that's bigger than the person, organization or news story.
