DMX Passes Away (RIP Earl "DMX" Simmons, Long Live X)

Yea this one hurts

I still have his CDs and even some old movies on DVD like Never Die Alone, Cradle 2 the Grave, Romeo Must Die, and Exit Wounds

Wish he could have seen the support he was getting and know he was forgotten. Always loved his style

RIP to a legend

I remember me and my childhood friends first seen the Ruff Ryders anthem video back in 1998. We used to be like "man, they are deep af in that video". I miss when everybody had real movements in hip hop. Everybody had they own clique, originality with great quality of music

I didn't have an older sibling. Hispanic kid with parents from another country so I had to absorb everything on my own. My introduction to Hip-Hop was DMX. I remember being in 3rd grade hearing Ruff Ryders Anthem and just being captivated by who turned out to be X. He's responsible for my love affair with the genre and culture.
