but choosing a mate is more about just attraction or money. The person has to have a certain amount of maturity.

I think over time people come to learn what is best for them versus a perception of what they want. Many people find out what they need through knowing what they don't want.

Example a person may want a wealthy partner. Well that wealthy person may always be busy with making that wealth and not always physically present. So once a person has that experience they probably gain clarity on what is best for them. That now looks like a wealthy person that is available and present for the relationship.

I am learning all relationships/situationships help gain more clarity about what is best for us.

My last situationship.... you know what nvm. Let's just say I need time by myself. I have absolutely no desire to be in a relationship, date .....none of that.

Don't want any of my negative thoughts and feelings carrying into my future experience with a man. I want to feel good about being with a black man.... and right now the thoughts often are the opposite of that.

Yall on here will suffice for my male interaction lol.
 
For one TK's 25K logic doesn't hold up to math and common sense.
It's more of an example of how disconnected he is from reality due to his own finances.

But people that agree with him open up an interesting can of worms.
If a man is suppose to have X amount of money to fuck...
This would be in addition to all the other societal expectations placed on men...
This would justify the lack of gender equality in our society when it comes to wages and other issues.
If women aren't held to a higher financial standard, it would benefit society to favor men that are.
