I've learned that the police don't really do much in stalking situations. The woman calls the police, they say well call us back when he's beating your ass, then we can help. So a woman being able to physically fight and shoot a firearm is definitely a must in our community.

Agree with you. My homie Miguel can trace his family roots back to a small village in Mexico, and has photos and ppl there to prove it. Homie is all about bringing pride to his family.
The average American Black male may be able to go back a generation or 2 accurately. If we can understand and Love who we are, we can bring back that sense of Pride, and the guilt of shame and embarrassment.

I think the answers generally lie in a stronger family unit. Especially with our men doing more to be better fathers to their sons and daughters. Everything else is white noise.
I believe that to be A solution. Getting to that point is the hard part because it requires so much responsibility and accountability to our men as a whole. It's not, however, asking anything of us that we shouldn't already be doing, but you know some niggas is dead set on doing the opposite just cuz.

Also we need to focus on the mental side of abuse as well. I feel that's worse than the physical. Free them from the mindset that they're life is nothing w/o the person that's mentally abusing them.

We have to address the mental side of things. I know PTSD is real, and we have a lot of it ongoing and untreated in our community. That's why a lot of us smoke,sip lean, turn to sex, heroin etc. And end up dying from trying to escape the mental anguish.

We start by letting our children, Bretheren and Sistren know that certain acts are not acceptable. People feel like they cant tell someone their behavior is not acceptable. Or we let our friends behavior slide because they are our friends/family. As far as action. You have to tell your children that they represent you and your ancestors which every decision. Let them know that even if they are not embarrassed they are embarrassing you and their name. Make them feel like it is an honor to carry that name.

Then getting them help like seeing a therapist. Dunno why we have this perception that seeing a therapist is a bad thing.

Secondly this black men kills black women thing is just another variation of “what about black on black crime” if majority of the time black people are dating and marrying each other then unfortunately there will be occassions when black men harm black women.
Thirdly, we’ve been conditioned to believe that the black man is the most violent people on earth to the point that even black People themselves believe it. Why is this a big campaign to begin with? Anything negative black people are the face of it. And black men being the face of domestic violence is a part of it.
Finally if we are looking for solutions, in a world where violence is prominent in general then good luck. It’s obvious though. Don’t put your hands on people and if things are getting heated then walk away. Outside of that it’s very difficult to completely eliminate man on woman violence.

I've come to the conclusion that black people are exactly the opposite. We are extremely peaceful. Whenever we are happy and left to our own devices, we create. whether it's art, music, piloshipcal thought, stories, poems, athletics, dance, whatever u want to call it, that's what we take joy in. we donot take joy in violence.
People talk about culture and tradition, the game hunters and the conquerors, and those who make slaves fight each other and wild animals to the bloody death in coliseums was always them white folk.....
