It's not hard to understand. This idea that people can truly look at something outside of themselves and removed their personal viewpoint on the world is not something people do very well. So to not participate in saying people are doing foul shit just because others give it a pass is a flimsy argument. Also, despite how badly niggas wanna complain and parrot Fox News talking points "cancel culture" isn't really a thing. People just hate being held accountable on a public stage for their fuck ups, but seldom has someone actually been "cancelled' and lost their career and that reaction not connected to some serious legal or otherwise very frowned upon act.
