Within the short couple hrs of using the note 10 plus I’ve already come across a few pluses and drawbacks.

A huge drawback I just noticed is the note doesn’t respond to the mqa feature on Tidal like the iPhone does. I’m sure it’s a hardware thing.

When I use the mqa feature on the iPhone the quality improvement of the audio is extremely noticeable. I just tested it out on the note and it’s slightly noticeable smh.

Nah Mqa is hundreds of levels above hifi.

I would recommend it, but if u have a galaxy it seems to be pointless.

Nah Mqa is hundreds of levels above hifi.

I would recommend it, but if u have a galaxy it seems to be pointless.

there's also something you can dl with Android 10 that does what you describe

Don't know why it's not enabled out the box but it makes all music sound 10x better

I just paid over a stack on a galaxy phone, so it ain't even no iPhone stan shit, just objective criticism.

I was able to use tidal normally without any extra apps or devices and get mqa, galaxy is holding a big L in this specific area.

I'm still overall impressed with the phone tho. I'll drop a full review after living with this shit for a week.
