I don't know if it's generational or regional, or both but I was in my late teens and early 20s when Tribe was in their peak.

Nobody could touch Tribe's production. Not Dr Dre, not DJ Premiere, not RZA, not DJ Quik, not DJ Muggs, not Jermaine Dupri. As far as production goes, Midnight Marauders shits all over Strictly For My Niggaz and Ready To Die. I'm not saying Q-Tip and Phife can rap better than Big or Pac, but their production was waaaaay better. No comparison.
