I think I said it on the IC about Triple Six a few years ago, but everything about them niggas and all them other similar acts out of the south and midwest can point right to Esham as the architect of their whole sound, imagery, and everything else. Damned near everybody in the south and across the midwest has a cousin or other relative from Detroit, Indiana, or Ohio and those relatives were dubbing Esham tapes and sending them all over the place. The nigga sold 100K of his first album, and that shit doesn't happen just by selling in Michigan. Them shits sold all over the midwest and the south so in addition to the dubbed copies being passed through family and friends, there were legit sales happening.
Everything about 3-6's early work comes straight from Esham's playbook (Portrait of a Serial Killa, Mystic Stylez, etc). Whether they willingly admit it or not, the DNA is there to see and hear.
