Welcome To aBlackWeb

Is Kamala Harris The Best Candidate For Black People?

Also..black Americans issues this election season are

reparations - the Democrats are anti-reparations

federal hate crime Bill - the Democrats gave the Asians one and ignored ours

and the stop of illegal immigration - this is the Democrats platform and what they're basing their whole agenda on

How is that "better than trump" if we're talking strictly policy ? @TheNightKing

I think that saying needs to be laid to rest

One anti black ain't better or worse than the next
That’s your opinion based on your own interests. That’s what you can’t reconcile, is that your opinion is not ubiquitous of all black people, as much as you think it should be.

As much as I would support reparations, I know it takes 218 in the house and 60 in the senate to pass any bill. If that’s not possible, why run on it?

As far as a hate crime bill, what is expected that’s not already covered by past federal hate crime bills that cover race? The Asian one simply put mechanisms in place to expedite hate crime reviews and gather data. That’s light.

Illegal immigration, a bill was introduced with bipartisan support and Trump killed it so he could run on the issue.

Other issues that affect black people, though not exclusively but many times disproportionately.

Policing protections.

Abortion rights. I don’t agree with abortion in general, but if it’s for legit reasons it impacts black women. And black woken have the highest mortality rate for births.

Tax breaks for the middle and lower class.

Voting rights, though you’d probably say this doesn’t matter.

Student loan forgiveness, for which black people hold a disproportionate level of debt.

See there are many more issues that impact black people than the ones you state, yet you think those 3 are the only ones we should care about. And we just disagree, and that’s fine.

Taking up our resources, overcrowding our schools, undermining our political power, excluding us form our own communities. Looks around at cities with high illegals populations
Good point and thanks for answering. i just wanted to see if anyone saying illegals are a uniquely black issue really knew how. I’d say this is an American issue though. It is only disproportionately impacting black people because states are placing illegals in black communities.

Okay, well let’s see him go up there and give his idea of the perfect answer in front of a mostly woman audience on live TV. 🙂

What did she literally do/say that was wrong? You really think this woman would not be on her “A” GAME when dealing with other men world leaders?
This dude is offering nothing more than encourage his audience to use yet another artificial divide. It’s been the main go-to tool people use in today’s politics. Do we really need to split up over this? She didn’t give the exact answer you wanted her to give, so, what?
Why is dude asking his audience to pass a character judgement based on this instead of the correct standard based on right and wrong?

I think also yall put way too much emphasis on the image of the individual you prefer sit in the presidential seat without enough emphasis on the unseen and seen forces/ influence behind them. It’s not who’s in the seat, it’s what powers are behind them and who’s backing them for the betterment of everyone else.
But we supposed to accept a known liar who switch his principles according to what benefit him and who not above using false divides and fraud to get with he want, then assume that person will have your back when they get get called to choose between you or them?

Yep, it hits us most of all. I have nothing against people looking to have a better life, but can't be cool with it hurting us in the process.

@TheKnightKing

Do you believe if Malcolm X or Kalid Muhammad, if both were alive, would both be gathering black people on the grassroot and in the NOI to support Kamala or sit out this election?
