Have you tried to find someone who would do sisterlocs?? They do different locking methods for different hair textures. My sister has really fine and curly hair and had no issues.
It is what it is. Waste of time that trip was and I only wanted to get starter dreads. Nothing fancy. Said my curls were too loose and fine. He twirled it and it just spiraled like a Bantu knot twist out . -_- .
I'm still in the process is looking for someone else.
