Capitalism vs Socialism

Sounds pretty good.

It's already this way. It's been this way. Capitalism has become an idea we preach, but the practice has been socialism for the rich. Any time the idea of capitalism becomes a reality for the average Joe, the game changes, the rules change, the minimum to play changes. We have too much money and too many resources for Americans on average to be struggling so bad when it comes to education and economics.

My non expert opinion has always been that government needs to drastically cut spending and move toward balancing the budget.

But bc that never happens regardless of administration I start to gravitate toward "fuck it they keep spending money on shit nobody asked for, so they might as well start spending OUR money on US."

And so I start to see why the average joes find socialism appealing, even tho I'm pro capitalism.

Ironically sometimes I think I'm starting to sound like "capitalism works it just hasn't really been tried properly"

It's been a reality for a while and has shown resiliency. Socialism is being used against America's economy with negative results. Deportation and tariffs

lol I been ignoring most of these posts because they are point less, but this one was particularly stupid. The post said Lebron would be paid the same whether he scores 30 or 70 because "the team will be owned by the government." This makes no sense. For one, sports teams wouldn't be owned by the government in a democratic socialist country, which is the form of socialism most propose for America. In that system, only the things that are important for survival (e.g., food production, energy production, healthcare) are controlled by the government. Second, why would the team being owned by the government mean Lebron's pay wouldn't change based on merit? Not everyone that works for our government gets paid the same. People who are better at their job in our government absolutely get more money. The person doesn't seem to even understand how capitalism works. Lebron doesn't really get paid for his production. He gets paid for how much of a draw the team thinks he is (e.g., how much money they think the team can make from him). It's possible he could make the same money averaging 30 or 70 in our current system too. Hell, it's possible he could average 70 and make less money in our system. It all depends on how much money people are willing to spend to see him play.

I didn't miss the point of anything. The statement made in the post is just factually incorrect. The part you highlighted is stupid. The Nordic countries have thriving art scenes and are the models of the Social Democracies that people are promoting for the U.S.

That's why you keep posting all this dumb stuff. You don't actually understand anything.

You missed the point by giving an idiotic example. The statement i highlighted summarizes what the speaker tried to educate. Theres nothing stupid about that statement because its been echoed by many that warn the dangers of socialism that lived it.

You are such a fake.
Carry on tho๐Ÿ˜„

Yes, the statement is stupid because not all Socialism is the same just like not all Capitalism is the same. It's dumb for you and others to post that rhetoric when there are nations who currently have the systems being proposed for America that are out performing the U.S. in pretty much every measurable metric at this point.

I know you can't understand any of this and it's ok. That's why all you can do is keep calling me fake instead of actually addressing the points that I make. With that, I'll go back to just letting you throw your shit at the wall.
