Getting the Lucha Bros and MCMG are good steps but I have no faith in HHH booking the tag division properly long term. They just had the belts on Awesome Truth and the belts keep getting put on makeshift tag teams.

Past it? They're both still incredibly good.

Better than most if not all current WWE tag teams as it stands.
They aight I've seen some of their recent stuff. MCMG in 2024 ain't it to me.

When I heard they were going to AEW I was uninterested asf. Probably suits them best to put over NXT teams coming up.

Brother, Shelley was just a world champ with great matches, Sabin was just X-Division champ and had a slapper with Vikingo and Kushida.
They wrestled each other and had a banger just last month lmaooo.

I mean to each their own but they are still THEM. They shouldn't be in NXT at all.

MCMG in WWE should be great.

Hopefully HHHs plan is to stop bullshittin if hes bringing in tag teams like that... them and the Lucha Bros if true would make me think thats the case'

they could be planning some shit... cus we done had the Rascals showing up too

maybe some type of tag team tourney or something idk

This new format would give talent more time to recoup and recover, rather than flying & rushing straight back into TV.

We are told this would mostly be for international sake if they do decide to carry forward with this idea.

I repeat, this is not cleared or approved as of this writing.

Based on those PWInsiderElite.com has spoken to internally within WWE, they are very relieved and happy to be returning to the USA Network from Syfy next week, recognizing that while they needed to be shifted for the Olympics by NBC Universal, the timing of it happening around Summerslam was not the best for WWE. We are told it was seen as something they were doing to be good partners for NBC. The audience dipping weren't unexpected but still not something WWE was thrilled with.

Late in the day yesterday, WWE did a little more media pushes for Raw than usual, building it around the debut of The Wyatt Sicks and the location of their in-ring debut in Baltimore being the same place The Wyatt Family originally debuted on the main roster. That said, we are told there was no worries internally about whether Raw and NXT numbers will return to their usual audience when they are back next week, but that this week, they pushed Raw out a litte harder.

There was a lot of happiness internally about huge social media numbers for the Odyssey Jones debut on Raw last night.

You can expect some main roster stars to be at the initial WWE NXT on CW Tapings to assist with ticket sales.

We are told NXT Lead Coach Matt Bloom is slated to be at this week's Smackdown taping.

We've been asked if the Jacob Fatu injury at Summerslam was a work. No one who knows for sure is talking that we've heard thus far. Fatu was seen with a walking boot after the show. WWE has been thrilled with Fatu's work thus far we are told. "He brings a true element of danger", one source commented.

Since some have asked, we are told no injuries for CM Punk or Drew McIntyre.

Former AEW star Brock Anderson was backstage at Summerslam
