I don't know if overrated is the right word for him. I don't believe Dave is as good now as he used to be, but there's no question he was a top tier standup comedian. I believe there is a difference between someone being overrated and someone falling off.
There was a legit time when Dave could walk onto a stage and just riff for 30 mins and that shit would be better than a nigga like Corey's paid special. The fact that he could ever do that means he deserves the accolades he gets even if he doesn't really live up to them anymore.
