Work Out, Get Fit Thread

Losing weight shouldn't be this damn difficult, my doctor recommend that I cut back on alchohol but that's been a struggle in itself, trying to work out consistently 3x a week. Getting good sleep tough at times since I wake up at 3:15am, the little things matter but seems like the little things is where I struggle most. Good luck to everyone trying

I feel you bro it’s a slow start but you’ll get there. I haven’t really done as well with the diet and outside gym stuff. But I’m closer to my weight goal than I thought.
 
Whats the best food to gain weight asap? I want to get fat but in a good way. Any tips?
put yourself in a calorie surplus

weight gain and weight loss is all about calorie intake

find out what your maintenance calories are and then attempt to eat that plus 500 calories more a day

If you are trying to build muscle, eat about 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per body weight
 
Do you people workout 2 times a day? I did workout today for 2hours but i feel like i didnt do enough because of so many hot girls .I want go back to gym and do one more time is it good or bad?

No reason to do that unless you are a body builder

When it comes to working out, rest is just as important as exercise because you must let your body heal and recover
 
Found this alkaline water at the local cvs the other day and it’s pretty good

Ok so what y’all do to deal with shin splints I’ve started running for cardio and I stretch before but I’m thinking are the muscles just weak and it’s temporary? Am I stepping wrong?
 
Was down to 242 yesterday. Weight keeps bouncing between 245 and 248. Been working on mobility and shit and strengthen my back.


Deadlifts are real and need more time on bench. Cardio getting better.

Throw some pull ups in your routine
