Last time I checked, most things crypto is blocked in NYC, it looks like I can buy it on Coinbase, now. I can't find any definitive info that I can move it off of there once I purchase it, though. All the other sites like to wait until I sign up and when I put my location in, then they say that NYC isn't supported.
