I had the same issue with Coinbase last week with them wanting to see ID and a selfie. To their credit they are quick at pushing the payment through once you've done that.

That’s weird. Maybe the transaction is pending. USD value showing, but not ADA. CoinBase is centralized, so the’ll do right by you, tho…

I bought 400 XRP back in April through binance and transferred them straight to my nano ledger (I don't trust leaving crypto om exchanges). Is the Trus wallet an online wallet?Trus wallet charged me a “one time fee” of 20 xrp to hold my xrp…. Didn’t know till afterwards

No you won’t. If XRP is $1,000/coin, you may have wasted $20k in paying for your wallet address. However, every 1,000XRP in it are worth $1M lol…
Facts. Once i realized what i was paying for it softened the blow a little bit. I don’t mind paying to play.
