Welcome To aBlackWeb

Bartender worked 70+ hrs and got $9.21 paycheck. Says this is why you tip.

its the law where I'm at and everywhere else I'm sure they at least have to make minimum wage with the tips included. I have served tables.before and if you are getting tipped well and claiming that shit then your paycheck essentially pays the taxes on the tips..shorty was banking on tips that pay period thats why her paycheck so small

Its 15% for standard service, 20+% for great service. But yall stay being proud of being trash so keep doing you.

Btw, i always tip a few bucks for take out

You one of them "$15/hr minimum" niggas too. Yo trash ass has no problem with waitstaff getting paid peanuts but got a problem with people that don't tip?

Fuck outta here.

If these folks got paid better to begin with the "need" for tips wouldn't be there. Tipping would be for good service, which is how it should be. Not the standard "I showed up for my shift and did what was on the job description" service, but actually good service.

When I worked selling car audio, my installers knew if they were doing work that required a bit extra or they had to customize some shit to get it to fit that I was gonna holler at the car's owner to give them a tip for doing extra. If it was just a deck and two/four or a straight forward amp install or something, then I didn't do that; that's standard, by the book work. But if he hooked some shit up and made it look good or if we had a custom order, you better believe I was gonna make sure they got tipped.

That's how I approach tipping in general.

Why yall so mad at people working for tips?

In America, going out to eat comes with a social contract. You expected to tip your waiter.

Yall mfers that are so against tipping and that dont tip are the weird mfers. Tipping is the norm.

If yall so against tipping, order take out.

Americans feel like nobody but billionaires deserve more money

tip them people man

if you tip, then this shouldnt bother or offend you

if you dont, i understand

"its never too late to stop being a bitch" - Pimp C
I tip but I'm still offended by this

$2?? Come on bruh

I remember my sister applied to Red Lobster and they told her that her tips were combined with all the other waitresses then distributed. It was then that I made her end the whole process because they could’ve never thought.

I recently took my daughter out Friday and even though they had like an $8 tip as a suggestion for 20% gratuity, I tipped my waitress $15. It was her first week working there.

Like others have said, would be curious to know what her tips looked like during that same period, but then it detracts from the "woe is me" narrative that she was trying to portray.

The biggest tragedy in all this is how an employer is really getting away with paying $2/hr to their staff. She should have put her company on blast... Oh but the tips!

you niggas got a lot of nerve. “i only tip if you go above and beyond” lmaooo who tf is yall? king tut?

imagine a dusty nigga walking into your establishment, plopping down in a booth smelling like roach spray talking about “I only tip those that go above and beyond”

“you gotta go the extra mile to earn my $10”

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the nerve of you dustballs

nigga said that like she gotta suck his dick from the back for that tip

:hahaha:

They post these paycheck sob stories, all the time to get sympathy and hopefully get a higher tip percentage. Thats why they never mention how much they cleared in tips and just focus on the check. And also why if you tip around 30% now, you're labeled as a bad tipper.

Next time a server or bartender brings this up, tell them they should all organize to get paid by the hour and not rely on tips. After you say that watch how they avoid that subject like the plague. Cuz they know they making a killing in tips for relatively easy work, for a short period of time.

But my fav thing about this is when you see these posts on reddit, you'll find comments from back of the house staff, about servers and bartenders like this. They'll come to the back ranting and raving about how they made no money & they should of just stayed home cuz it wasnt worth it, ect ect. Then the cooks in the back find out they made more than double what they made in the back cooking all the food & they're calling it nothing. Imagine how much of an entitled asshole you gotta be to complain to fellow employees that work way harder than you and earn way less than you, they you made like no money for all the work you did...taking orders.
30% is bad tipping??? Where you live?

Lol. Notice she doesn't mention her take home on tips. Don't feel sorry for them. Feel sorry for the average bar/club security who actually hold shit together, keep them safe and walk away with less in 2 weeks than some of these chicks make in a night.

Shout out to the bar backs too. The real MVP's. Iykyk.

Working in that environment is all about your hustle.

From my understanding Americans got tipping from the French who were bougie and the American wealthy wanted to be bougie too and brought it back here to America. Prior to that it didn't exist or it was in bad taste tip
