“you gotta go the extra mile to earn my $10”

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the nerve of you dustballs

How much did she make in tips?

Good question actually cah it would change my post

She conveniently didnt mention it..

Yeah, she's trying to be slick and get some kind of sympathy play.

Tips are pretty much off the books...............so that gives her the added benefit of tax-free income.

Guess she has enough sense to not risk getting the attention of the IRS.

Being kind of disingenuous too because she knows good and damn well the only reason people take jobs like that is because of how much money they get in tips and not having to report it.

Or having the luxury of reporting a lot less than they actually took in.

No, you're expected to tip your waiter if they deliver good service; that's the social contract. Simply doing your job = no tip. Going above and beyond to provide a favorable dining experience = earning a tip.

I tip when my server goes the extra mile to make sure we're good. I'll never tip a muhfucka that just showed up for work and does the bare minimum.

Don't know if you've ever noticed it, but they're even asking for tips on take out, which is some bullshit.

Its 15% for standard service, 20+% for great service. But yall stay being proud of being trash so keep doing you.

Btw, i always tip a few bucks for take out

It’s however much you think it should be. But I digress.

And how you gon causally call us trash. Not cool bruh.

Nah theres a general non spoken rule about how much waiters should get tipped. And in general its 15% for standars service

Me have to ask you for a refill and having to get your attention so I can order ain’t standard service

Word. So you then you dont tip.

Me saying 15% was in response to dude saying he ONLY tips when the service is great.

So im just saying the rule of thumb is, if the service was trash, you dont tip. If the service was standard, you tip 15%. If the service was great its 20%.

If you go somewhere and get ass service, its your right not to tip. No arguments there.

I don’t tip if the waiter is trash, you ain’t getting shit from me. I can understand having a lot of tables and not being able to really keep up. I’ll still throw them a little something. If you just plain suck, nah.

I don't plan shit.

I get what you all are saying, but no one should be FORCED to provide gratuity. That's why it's called "gratuity" - it's based on voluntarily giving for service.

Tip EVERYONE if you feel that way: the baggers at the grocery store, a doorman at an apartment complex, all of em.

Plus, service DOES count for something. I'm not rewarding someone for shitty service or negativity. Fuck should I give 15% to a waitress at Waffle House for if she's acting all pissed off that I'm there in the first place, just cause I'm hungry?
