Welcome To aBlackWeb

Bartender worked 70+ hrs and got $9.21 paycheck. Says this is why you tip.

$2 is insane but they usually get a ton of tips that make up the loss. She also said they took out for medical. Wonder if that was her first check and no one told her what’s up

They post these paycheck sob stories, all the time to get sympathy and hopefully get a higher tip percentage. Thats why they never mention how much they cleared in tips and just focus on the check. And also why if you tip around 30% now, you're labeled as a bad tipper.

Next time a server or bartender brings this up, tell them they should all organize to get paid by the hour and not rely on tips. After you say that watch how they avoid that subject like the plague. Cuz they know they making a killing in tips for relatively easy work, for a short period of time.

But my fav thing about this is when you see these posts on reddit, you'll find comments from back of the house staff, about servers and bartenders like this. They'll come to the back ranting and raving about how they made no money & they should of just stayed home cuz it wasnt worth it, ect ect. Then the cooks in the back find out they made more than double what they made in the back cooking all the food & they're calling it nothing. Imagine how much of an entitled asshole you gotta be to complain to fellow employees that work way harder than you and earn way less than you, they you made like no money for all the work you did...taking orders.

Ima I tripping or did it say they took out $0 dolllars for they Medicare and all that other shit.
