I thought the whole point of this version was to make it better than the shitty version. No? Everyone hated that version which is why they petitioned for this hopefully better version

You can hate the last version but still be a fan of these characters and hope they will do justice (pun intended)
If you thought the first movie was shitty, I don't understand what you expecting. Yes there will be extra shit..... But not enough to make it a completely different movie. It's just gonna be more in the sense of direction. But largely still the same movie.
It's like y'all don't want to accept this. Y'all rather believe extra footage will transform this into a completely different movie. I just don't see it. I see the trailers and I just see more footage from the same movie. The pacing might be different, because of how long it is. But must of the same scenes y'all didn't like the first time will still be in this movie. Just more of them and longer ??

Lol it's like you halfway want people to shit on and hate this release.
Maybe people didnt like the original because of the pacing... or how the story felt rushed and disjointed...or one of the many other issues it faced. I dont think people had issues with the story itself.. just how that shit was executed.
If the Snyder cuts fixes those issues... then I could absolutely see someone hating the first one but enjoying the Snyder Cut.
Imma try to give my final example of this and hopefully y'all catch where I'm coming from. I think I'm being clear, but I'll try again.

Yes pacing was an issue. The story felt rushed, and some of the cgi was lazy. However for me, that didn't tank the movie. I could recognize them as issues... But they didn't hurt the film that much.
In fact a longer movie, one directior with one tone, and polished cgi would definitely for someone like me be a great great improvement.
However... I've listened to people trash this movie for years..... Years..... And I'm saying if you HATED it that much.... What are you really expecting?

From what I thought I understood, they threw out 3/4 of the movie we all saw so they could make it better. So yes, I am expecting a better movie with the same story.

Weeden came in and did very little reshoots to turn what Snyder started theater ready.
Snyder claims he wasn't done with his vision... Fans jumped on to it, and here we are.
Snyder was able to get some reshoots, use some old previously unused footage, and the cgi was done the way he wanted.
