It did really open that realm where rappers, entertainers and video directors could cross over to the big screen in leading big budget roles.

And before you say pac he crossed over from acting into rap.

Properly rated. Because we all recognize it as a hood classic with classic scenes...but I don't think any of us claim that it's a good, well-constructed film.

I know some folks are claiming in here that they don't judge movies on a curve but I (and everybody who is honest) honestly do.

I can't honestly compare a movie like John Wick to something like Pulp Fiction. Even if both can kind of fall into the action genre one has a way better story and fleshed out (in one film I might add, lmao.) characters and an actual hint of suspense while the other is a straight popcorn shoot me up flick.

Belly is far from a Cinematic masterpiece and lord know it has a ton of flaws but I can't compare it to bigger budget action films in good conscience. If properly rated means it was a watchable film with some redeemable qualities that wasn't a complete train wreck then it's properly rated.

Crazy thing is the movie could have been even more ridiculous....in the director s commentary Hype Williams said the opening was originally young Tommy selling his soul to the devil literally....they had to scrap that and ended up with the young Tommy burning the dollar bill

One IS an action movie and the other is a drama.

Both those movies you named have way more depth than the Wick films eventhough they are building on the universe

Synopsis:
