Just got done watching #blackAF

I thought it was good. They basically made an uncensored version of #blackish shot with the elements and styles of Modern Family and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The backlash this show is getting as far as casting is trivial at best. Kenya Barris made (another) show based on his life and family...his ACTUAL family looks like the family we see on screen. I have seen twitter dissertations filled with woke buzzwords about how Barris is a detriment to black folks because of casting lol

Anywho, the show is definitely not groundbreaking super innovative tv...but myself and my wife were thoroughly entertained. Its worth a watch.

I like how this nigga just casually dropped he was married like he just bought a car from CarMax

What's wild is that alot of the criticisms are coming from folks that haven't even bothered to watch the show for themselves.. they just piggybacking off of other folks outrage on social media

If the main gripe about this show is the light-skinned cast, then KB ain't got nothing to worry about. He is basing the characters off HIS life, not ours.

There were some black knowledge dropped throughout.

I hope they get a second season.
