Look, I don't know what the truth is about Wade's son. If the lil dude really does suffer from body dysmorphia or whatever it's called and sees himself as a girl, then his parents have to do something. If letting him explore and figure out what makes him comfortable is the best thing to do, they have to do it. I don't really know what else you can do in a situation like that. You can't beat that shit out of a kid any more than you can beat a blind person into sight. It is what it is.

My problem is more with the fact that the Wade's seem to be doing this shit for attention. If dude was a regular old boy, would we be seeing all this promotion of every little thing he did? Probably not. I believe to some extent, they are doing what they are doing to pain themselves as progressive parents. Let that boy figure himself out like a normal person. Everything doesn't have to be put in the spotlight. And shit like this is how you promote certain things and make it trendy or faddish. Transgendered people should be allowed to be themselves, but that doesn't mean we should be pushing this sexual spectrum shit the way some are.

It's not about attention, it's about the importance of a having a profound figure like D Wade, a man from Southside Chicago, a niggas nigga, storied career in sports, fashionable cool ass dude, mayor of Miami, a black man, be an supportive to a trans daughter and an alley to the LGBT community when everything in is nature, background said that shouldn't be possible.

It's going against the grain, going against d wade culutural influences, and it's honestly some brave ass bold shit knowing he would get ridiculed for his support towards his kid, and support of a group that alot of us don't understand from a ideological and culutural standpoint. It's important to know that a black straight man with alot of Fame can also respect the views and culture of something that he doesn't engage in or shows a dislike for when historically his cultural background would do so. It's a path only a few would take, and it's brave af fam. You know how many personal friends and people is going to treat him like shit now?

We act like this shit is a cake walk taking this path, it shows how strong they are in their beliefs to even endure it.

He can do that without the spectacle though. I don't think anyone is saying that he should deny that his song is gay or transgenedered. I don't think anyone is saying that he shouldn't make it known that he loves and supports his son. My problem is that it seems that everything they do is designed to bring attention to themselves. Most responsible celebrity parents seem to want to keep their kids out of the spotlight because they know the harm that can be done growing up under that kinda scrutiny. The Wade's are basically pushing their son into that scrutiny, and for what? To inspire people to not be bigots? Is that Wade's job, or is doing the right thing for his son his job?

And it doesn't show strength if the fame/infamy is what they want. Again, if you're someone that's just out for the attention, you're happy when you get it however it comes. If they are getting 10 people patting them on the backs for what they're doing, they may not care about the 50 that levying legitimate concerns or the other 50 that are just being mean spirited.

I just think the fact that people are saying they are wrong for a physical change (don't cut his fuck off shit) without the Wade family ever saying they are doing so shows the fear (phobias) of this who gay shit. The whole point of fear is a lack of understanding or something that's different from what they are used too, which as a society is reflecting based on a assumption of something that never even happened.


I would get it if D wade admitted to doing the physical change at 12, I agree that shit is too young, but bro they never even said they were doing that and folks are freaking the fuck out. Well, I don't understand the freaking out about it. Honestly, that's just part of this whole culture where celebrities are worshiped. People overreact to everything they do. That goes to my point though. That boy should never have been exposed to this circus. His parents are the one doing that to him.

How is it for attention if that is his life? He will always be in the spot light no matter what he does. Seems he accepts that. People flash money, guns on social media to get likes. Some of those people are not even happy in their life so they fake the funk. He post a big event that really happened in his family and it is for attention? Not really getting where you are going with this. I would say that he is using HIS platform to show people that you must love and support your kids regardless of they are straight, gay, or trans. Talk with them even if the parent disagrees with their lifestyle choice. Parents that abandon their gay or trans kids or emotionally isolate them, those are the kids that end up messed up as they get older. Just my thoughts and assumptions.

Bruh, why are you acting like you have to post anything about your kids on social media. Again, plenty of celebrities are in the limelight and you hardly ever see their kids outside of occasional pics here and there. They specifically do that because they don't want their kids to have to deal with the bullshit that comes with celebrity. It's not necessary to publicize every little decision the kid makes or every little phase he goes through. They are putting on a show.

I don't follow Wade, so you tell me. He's got 3 other kids right? Do they get the same promotion and attention as the other one? He loves them all right. You're saying you have to support you kids no matter what right. If you say they all get the same exposure, but the attention given to the trans kid is just blown out of proportion, then ok i'll say it might not be a big deal. They are just a more social media friendly family than I personally feel they should be, but that's their choice and it's their lives so whatever. However, if that kid is the one constantly being pushed to the public with the others just kinda in the background, then you can't make this argument that they are just supporting their kids no matter what because clearly not's not the case.

Why do you think everybody is supposed to be the same? Not everybody likes fame and there are some that thrive in it. Stephen curry has his daughter in the lime light all the time, but I guess the energy is different because wade's kid wants to be a girl. I don't follow people I don't personally know on my social media. So I can't answer your questions on what he puts on his personal page. Key word is his personal page that he shares with people he allows. People on my timeline do the same thing and none of them are famous.

You mistake my message of "support". I am only talking about being there for your kid if they come out as gay, trans, straight, or bi. There are some things I wouldn't support but would still love them.

It is the media that is focusing on the one kid. Social media is not a real place. You know how you can stop see these images and videos? Change the website/tv channel, or stop reading. Simple solution to a problem that seems to only be a problem to people wade doesn't even know. He loves all his kids. There hasnt been any abuse reports yet. Also, not all his kids are the same. Some may like the lime light and Some may be shy. Is that a hard concept to accept? Honestly, this all comes down to one or many of the following: hatred for gays and trans, misinformation, assumptions without doing reserch, and/or religion.
