because it is two different things. Rap legend means you got some classic work with long term impact soley in music. Like R. Kelly he a rob legend but his cultural contributions ain’t like that.

Nipsey is a cultural legend because he was part of reforming that west coast image and did all the black business stuff that other rappers speak on now no he wasn’t the first to do it

I don't know fam, I asked two attorneys how Tip could have gotten a sentence he did and they all said there is no federal provision where convicted felon can be caught with unregistered firearms, illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and walk away with a year.

They said that it's highly likely he cooperated with the feds or gave information to an ongoing investigation. They also said there won't be paper work unless he has to take the stand or if the syndicate under investigation doesn't get charged. They said federal authorities have gotten smarter in concealing information to protect undercover agents, witnesses, etc.

Again I loooove Tip's music but I personally think he snitched and it doesn't change how I view him or his music because what idiot would rather do 25 versus cooperating and being able to watch your children (and millions) grow ?
