I'm not fighting anyone. Niggas don't need my approval to date who they want to date as none of them ask for my approval when they do

🙄 I'm married to a black woman, bruh. What we want to do is irrelevant. You'd prioritize bullshit over actually helping the community prosper. That's illogical but not surprising. The fact that people are even listening to a grifter like Umar says all you need to know about the community as a whole.

Brother, I've held this position well before I even knew who a Dr Umar was.

I do find a level of contradiction from people who claim to be pro black but their partner/mate is not black or more specifically, their partner is white.

I don't disagree with you there. I just don't understand how you could reject someone who actually is doing good for the community just because they are with someone who doesn't meet your standards for a mate. That doesn't make sense to me.

We can agree to disagree though.

I guess the simplest way to rationalize this for me is, as my doctor, don't tell me to stop smoking while you're lighting up a pack in between patient visits.

You are going such a good work for your community that your mate of choice doesn't even look like you. You made a choice to help your community and you made a choice in your mate. Therein lies the contradiction.

But I appreciate the respectful dialogue even if we are on opposite ends of this particular subject🫱🏿‍🫲🏾

By that analogy, you'd have to be of the opinion that dealing with white people is inherently harmful for the community. If you feel that way, then I better understand your stance as a whole.

I just don't like thinking terms of groups. I focus more on individuals, so while I acknowledge trusting white people in general is dangerous, I'm not going to treat all white people like they are the enemy.

Good point

Admittedly my upbringing in the deep south has largely contributed to my pov

My only push back to you is the potential for the individuals to turn into groups you're trying not to think of
