Writers & Actors Going On Strike (Writers & Actors Strike Over)

Am I wrong? I worked on sets back in college. Most of these actors treat the crew like trash. This whole strike will impact those making the least the worst. Bryan Cranston made $255k per episode on the Breaking Bad. Average pay on a production crew is $22/hr

The actors out here are fakes. They take their $20 mill for a film or tv show, and then try to act like they care about the crew and day players who make a fraction of that.

Now is the time for them to come together and do what the corny ass Rock did and pool together additional funds for the people that ain’t as fortunate. If the Rock was able to donate 7 figures, I’m sure others can do the same. Show the studios that the solidarity is beyond real and that the union is REALLY prepared to go the distance.

This could be a blessing for indie film makers and up and coming people who don’t got the funds like that. You might start seeing big names in projects you’d never expect to see them in. Like when Matt Damon showed up in Eurotrip singing “Scotty doesn’t know!”
