Nelly made a song about an already popular trend...niggaz been wearing all white AF1’s for years leading up to this...late 90’s into tha early 2000’s niggaz was matching their AF1’s wit their hats/jerseys...Nelly might have help boost tha trend but it was already in full effect by this time
Annnd apparently Chucktownians call them Willie D’s because he was tha first rapper to wear them exclusively...or so tha legend goes
Anyways it’s a dumb ass argument because no soy can really lay claim to this specific trend...unlike Cam and tha pink trend
