Cause they'll send it to a FFL and they'll keep it till you are cleared. The place I got mine sent to wouldn't even let me look at the damn thing "shoot point blank which is a franchise of gun ranges like a mofo Walmart" I called corporate and other places and they was like yea you can look all you want but you can't take it out the store. I'm like you think I'm going to run out the store with it? And risk having atf,fbi and who ever else looking for me over something like that.

Sad news…

The State of WA has decided to ban “assault weapons”. The bill passed thru the Senate & now it has to go back to the House for an amendment but once it’s out of the house, the governor is going to sign it into law. Smh. Of course, current weapons owned legally will be grandfathered in but still.

I expect this shit to eventually be overturned but also expect to see other states pass similar legislation.

The legislation further defines assault weapons as “semiautomatic rifles with an overall length of less than 30 inches; conversion kits and parts that can be used to assemble an assault weapon or convert a firearm into an assault weapon, if the parts are in the possession of or under the control of the same person; semiautomatic centerfire rifles that have the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and have one or more additional features listed in the bill; semiautomatic centerfire rifles with a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than ten rounds; semiautomatic pistols that have the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and have one or more additional features listed in the bill; semiautomatic shotguns that have one or more additional features listed in the bill.”

Some of those additional features listed in the legislation include folding or telescoping stocks, flash suppressors, muzzle brakes and thumbhole stocks.

Thanks, I was looking for this list.

Because they called out centerfire rifles, my CMR30 would be safe as it's rimfire even with a telescoping stock. It's interesting that the AR10 wasn't called out. I've been eyeballing one for purchase next month.

Cheap lil laser bore sight. I prolly should have just gone ahead and copped a 9mm and .223 as well but fuck it. Shit's is supposed to get here tomorrow so I'll try it out then.

What's funny is I was actually looking at Jazz cd's and it popped up at the bottom of the page talmbout "based on your recent searches". Last time I searched Amazon for anything gun related was last summer when I got my cheapie red dot for the AR.
