When I watch some of these older shows with long seasons and character development. Like Hercules, Xena, Highlander, and some of the startreks.

I find myself very irritated with the pacing of the show. And all the seasons be 20 episode deep, then it makes me realize.

Now adays they give us rushed episodes with less content and we just got used to it

I don’t have time to commit to those 20 episode long seasons. Too much good content out there now. Back when there was only a couple of really good shows out at a time maybe, but with the limited time I have I got to be efficient with my watching.

Plus you have to admit a lot of a 20 episode season is filler. Let’s get to the shits and move the plot along every episode.

That’s why I love British shows like Peaky Blinders. 6 episodes per season and there’s as much relevant content to the plot as a 20 episode show.

Nowadays shows are more plot driven and to the fucking point. As opposed to just throwing out 3 act rinse and repeat serials for 23 weeks.

Were getting content we don't get sick of. Unless you like that arrow, flash, svu, all rise, type bullshit.
 
Anybody watch that Into The Dark anthology horror series on Hulu? I’m watching Pilgrim right now. This shit is fucked up

Jus binged South Side. I dig it. Its not really lol funny but its solid. Good alotta good messages in there too. The two cops n the female cashier are the funniest characters. I'll watch season 2.

it's getting harder and harder for me to get back into network tv shows these days.

i need around 10-12 episodes, as little filler as possible, and it has to actually be good

time isn't something i have a lot of these days...i cant be making the same kinda time investments I once made

Jus finished the final season of Mr. Robot. The ending was an exhausting, drawn out, over extended mind fuck. But the lead up (eps 1 thru 9) were dope af. The no talking heist episode and vera episode were the standouts. The show is shot beautifully, every scene is a work of art. The therapist is fine af, MILF. I have no idea why USA decided to run this opposite Sunday night football, eh. Dope show overall, but that ending tho....jus wasnt really feelin it. It was a mind fuck inside a mind fuck inside a mind fuck lol

Back to watchin "Grand Designs" on Netflix.

Been watching this. Show is good as hell if you're into home building and designs.

Saw more episodes was added and jumped on it. These people damn near go broke...just to build their ideal dream house.
