I let them get to a boil in some chicken bouillon seasoned water for 3-5 mins. Shocked them with cold water and drained them. I used flour and cornstarch to coat them.

whaaaat? boiling them first? Never head that before I gotta give it a try. You do that with all your fries or just the thicker wedge cut joints?

I always wanted to try making ox tail but then I see the small quantity of pieces they give and look at the prices. I be like "hmmmm, maybe some other time".
I fucks with the oxtails in the only person that eats em. So I ain't got to share with anybody.
 
Braised some lamb shanks. My first time. Last time I made them in the slow cooker. These came out a little over done but still good. Slid off the bone easily. One recipe said to cook it for 3hrs and the other was 2hrs. The degrees at a higher temp for the 2hrs. Think next time I will check it 2 hours. Also I need too flip them more often. The potatoes was boiled and then pan fried in duck fat.

Low sodium chicken stock
Soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Beyond bouillon sauce
Onion soup power for the broth

Diced chicken breast
Baby carrots
Spinach
Diced Red and yellow bell peppers
Chopped sweet Vidalia onion
Soba noodles
