Breaking News Viacom severs ties with Nick Cannon amid alleged "antisemitic" statements

so are jewish ppl not white?

lmaooo seriously asking

whiteness is a political definer more than anything.

im confusing my damn self right now

"Jewish" isn't a race. It's a weird mixture of ethnicity and religion. The white Jews that we know can trace their lineage/community back pretty far, but they aren't the only Jews out there. However, they do have the power so they like to try and dictate who has a claim to the title.

ok so jews can be white supermacist?

If he tried to call the head of Viacom he def was trying to apologize
After 20 yrs, if he called and talked to the head, I would think he would still be there. He's been down this road before and his empire grew. I don't think he said anything derogatory, comes off as he needed to walk it back and he wouldn't. Wasn't his best decisions that got him here, but I'm glad he slept in the bed he made. Take that shit to trail...

Shout out nick for speaking his mind and then refusing to apologize for it.

Ill go as far as to say that the whole original jews being whatever race is a useless discussion. The modern jews fighting it and saying no we were the original jews, and black people saying no we are is useless imo. The race of a group of people from over 3k years ago does what for who?

With that said though, im an athiest, so the religious signifance of it all goes above my head, so much respect to anyone that thinks there is a religious signifance of the original race of a people from 3k years ago.
Agnostic here. Religious talk nums me too

It goes in one ear and out the other

David Banner said something very similar a few years ago on Breakfast Club with no backlash I assume bc he didn't specify jewish tho he did call black people "God's chosen people" as Jews do

What's the difference?

The platform? His (assumed) independence from the industry? Or that he's not tied to anyone that can fire him?

36:50-38:00

The idea god has "chosen people" is oxymoronic af to me. It contradicts and undermines everything they say god is supposed to be about imo. That's why i don't subscribe to any religious beliefs

He should have chosen his words more carefully and never drop pseudo history. Everyone wants to be a Hebrew a "chosen one" which is some bull, but Black Folks want to be in the middle east without really dealing with the middle east. We are people who descend from those who live in the plains and jungle and desert of Africa. There is too much clear evidence and our diversity is expressed strongly, but people can continue thinking their Hebrew Israelites while you actually descend from people who actually developed revolutionary things that changed the course of history.
