I would say he's a super star
but due to the bad rep,he's left out or not offered things that a high calibre artist would.
He's blackballed in certain circles and will never advance from where he is.

Pre court cases Michael Jackson, Madonna, prince, Jay Z, Snoop, Busta Rhymes, Eminem ,Drake ,Bruno Mars ,Beyoncé,are a few ppl I would call mega stars some for music numbers and some for personality and history.
They could pop up in a blockbuster movie,coke commercial,or anywhere.
Chris has that black cloud over him that’s prevents him from doing the mega star numbers and getting mega star looks.
Packed shows is super star status.
There’s a difference between a super star and mega star.
