COMMUNITY United States Politics Thread: Trump's Second Term

This is a distraction fam

Stein or any other 3rd party didn't win cause their independent. They didn't win cause the current system isn't designed for them to win even if they are by miles the best candidate of the batch
3rd party's got silenced after Ross Perot took Bush 1 out of the game and let Clinton get the W.

That's my point. So if I don't like either Dem/Rep candidate what's the use in voting independent?

Probably not but that's besides the point. So you're using that to not vote for 3rd party then?

You know you can write in a name right? If that candidite was registered then that vote still counts

I feel like you're just making excuses upon excuses for not voting
What are the chances of 3rd party winning if system set up against them and everyone just writing whoever in there?

I don't understand why niggas are against what the fuck I'm saying lol

FBAs just want shit for themselves

Nothing is wrong with the bold. The point people are trying to make is that Trump undermines that goal.

I'm sure you support reparations for FBAs right.

Progress has been made towards that effort in recent years, particularly in Cali. Now, it hasn't been much progress but it was more than I thought would ever happen. Maybe Kamala wouldn't have gotten it done, but don't you think the future prospects of it happening would have been better with her as the president than it will be with Trump who is on a crusade to eliminate any and all efforts to help minority groups. Hell, so of his supporters are in favor of removing slavery from history curricula in school. How are we going to get reparations for slavery and Jim Crow if the country is moved into a position where those two evils are no longer even acknowledged?

So you’ve resigned yourself to being a spectator and commentator who doesn’t really have skin in the game either way.

That’s why never voting and two sides arguments are the easiest. You never have to actually do anything and you never have to defend the results of your action (or inaction). It’s the lowest risk position to play.

To answer your question, No, I am more so to believe it comes from Trump before it comes from Kamala. I don't see a black immigrant granting something to a group of FBAs and they themselves or their own ethnic group doesn't get anything. Not happening.

To address the school situation and the so call removal of slavery and Jim Crow, let me ask you this, without naming the Holocaust. Who else did the US pay reparations to, what other victims?? And when you find out those answers, those groups, Did you learn about it in a English 4th grade textbook?

You do know that they don't talk about the many things that I listed in the Black History Month Thread.
You do know they don't talk about everything in a 3rd grade text book but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen

You can hide history but you can't erase it

“It’s unclear when the website, which lists mostly Black employees who work in agencies primarily within the Department of Health and Human Services, first appeared.”

And from that comes this:

Two sides.

As per the first time home buyer thing...

Kamala's plan was specifically for immigrant families. Like I said, a band aid... and not even one for us.

It's a whole line in there with the word immigrant.

@Infamous114

Prove that it was for FBAs and that it would have help FBAs? I see nothing in there about FBAs bud.

We just talking jack, prove that ole boy is lying about this being targeted for immigrants

This is the impacts to black individuals people overlook in these macro arguments.

Did you see any black men talk about how the immigrants were taking the jobs in construction when Biden and Kamala was in office?

Was that a thing or did black men get jobs on the average?

We can do this all dayum day, for one boogyman post you make about Trump, I can make 2 boogey man post about Biden. They just canceling one another out bro.
