United States of Amazon: exposing horrible business practices & more

It’s Amazon. You can’t realistically go into a entry-level position and expect 40k and a health plan off the back. The economics don’t work like that.

I don’t agree with all their business practices like forced overtime and lack of health benefits, but if Capitalism is the hill we’re all going to die on here, then speak true about it. Cost reduction is real, and companies like Amazon are seeking it every day.

It’s bad business to pay a muhfucka $17-20/hour for a job that can be done by people for $10-12/hour. The shit ain’t charity. You don’t like it? Quit. Gigs like those aren’t meant to be careers anyway.

Who are you to say what is meant to be someones career? And even if it isnt a lifetime career for someone... they should still be able to live off of doing the work whether it's entry level or not

A person can't survive or live off that list that was posted.

They have one hospital visit and car breakdown in the same month and they are fucking homeless.

LLS @ $40 a month for gas when gas is over $3 a gallon.

We really can limit our interaction with white businesses. That will take respecting black businesses more.

We can, but it's also not that simple.

Not every area has access to lots of black business. Black business are usually limited in the types of good and services offered. The lack of resources behind some black businesses forces them to have to charge more in some cases, which prices some patrons out.

We can definitely support black businesses more, but it's a inaccurate to act like we could just abandon supporting white owned businesses to a large degree on a national level.

We can and should. It’s going to take a long time but it can be done.
Now a few may need to step out and work with them but that limits the groups deals with them.

everything big started with small movements.
