IMO it's a little of both. She has a point she likes the shit she likes but all that crying and calling her mom names and saying don't even claim as your daughter no more is some ungrateful shit.

I've been there before probably was younger than her. My father had money nigga ain't want to buy the shoes I wanted I chalked that shit up and was like I'm good I don't want nothing you can drop me back off at home. Didn't bitch about it never asked him or went to the shoe store with him ever again. Took it as a lesson to make a way for myself to get my own money to buy the shit I want.
