using the list i showed you, there are still going to be people that feel like Klay thompson is rated higher than 88, but being rated 88 doesn't mean he's garbage or that his rating isn't high

what are we doing here sir

all my little boyfriends swore by this movie when they use to bag up baby powder and sell it as coke to the junkies on the beach.

anywho, i only saw the beginning and was disturbed. never went back to watch it again.

im not one for gangster movies so i wont rate because it wont be without bias

i will say it has lost its popularity over time and im happy for it.

are you familiar with Bodie?

In all honesty, it's not a bad movie. And it definitely has it's widespread influence. No one can deny that.

But just from a movie stand point. I just never really was high on it.

As far as street, hood, drugs, mafia, crime movies there's just sooooooo many better movies than Scarface.

Fact is... Outside of Pacino.... Who had a stand out performance? Like everybody was flat. The action was cool. The quotables are there. Watching Tony be a little spazz is fun to watch.... But I just never considered it great.

Off the top of my head I can name
5 better Pacino movies
5 better mafia/crime movies
5 better action movies
5 better drugs movies...

Shit Blow was better, Carlito way. Goodfellas, casino, heat, King of new York, deep cover, Donnie brasco....I know y'all already went pages... And I don't want no smoke

:mybad:

Because most people dont think about what is being portrayed and society when they watch certain movies or listen to albums. Like for certain people shit goes over their heads. For example, watch the Matrix again with it in mind that "
Smith was "the one". You'll think about it differently.

It's all love fam hope your family is safe and doing well.
I've seen the videos that suggest that and I can see that angle

It's an interesting premise and the movie does feel differently when viewed through that lens but to completely subscribe to that means you're willing to subscribe that he is really the protagonist and you accept that he in fact loses in the end and I don't know a single movie off the top of my head where the protagonist lost in the end

Scarface don’t resonate with none of you niggas and only a hand few of folks in the world.

This was some kingpin shit. We can’t relate.

Paid in full though. It def resonates with me more so.
