Go to google and put in best movies of 1991 and go through the 90s, you'll see a slew of original and creative movies. Once the mid to late 2000s start you'll see 90% comic book movies. No originality, some ole comic book bullshit.

Marvel is backed by Disney, but Sony is the only other studio iirc, that has marvel licensing. DC owns all their own content
