This was the defense fault since they kept badgering Kelsey about the lyrics so the judge said the prosecution can bring the whole song as evidence.
Same reason the interview tape got brought in. They kept asking her and because she claimed she couldn't remember and was being pressured the judge said the tape could be played to prove her claim true or not
