Especially if you're my age. We were the first generation that grew up with vidya games. A part of us will always be standing in line, quarter or token on the marquee, waiting our turn to play whatever game in the arcades. We grew up with Atari VCS/2600, Intellevision, Odyssey 2, and Colecovision consoles and damned near all of us had an NES when they dropped (I got mine for xmas in '87, it was the last one left in the entire Tri-Cities area in Michigan). We went to college and took our consoles with us and Tecmobowl pretty much ruled the campus until Madden '92 dropped.

If a chick can't understand how something like that is ingrained into our whole being, I don't know what to say... And personally I couldn't fuck with her.

Funny enough, being kicked outta that store and forced to go to the boys and girls club to play pac man on their Atari, was how I ended up loving and playing basketball.

I was so proud of myself when after 4 weeks of practice for a new squad, I was named starting SG. When before that summer I never played ball before.

But when our PG got in foul trouble one game, the coach told me I had to slide over to PG and I cried like a bitch cause I didn't have any legit handles. All I had was a jumper and D
