Trump Goes After Jay Z at Nashville Rally for ‘Filthy’ Comments at Clinton Concert from 2016
President Trump‘s Nashville rally tonight felt in parts like a time warp back to 2016, with references to his electoral victory and Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
But for some reason, the President of the United States randomly invoked Jay Zand that time he performed at a Clinton rally.
Trump first briefly referenced “SpyGate” and talked about how Sanders was “screwed” by the Democrats. When he mentioned Clinton, people chanted “lock her up.”
“Is there anybody in this big beautiful arena right now that’s infiltrating my campaign?” he mockingly asked.
Trump talked about how many people showed up at his campaign rallies in 2016 and said of Clinton, “The only way she filled up the arena was to get Jay Z. And his language was so filthy that it made me like the most clean-cut human being on earth.”
“Without any musical instruments,” Trump said, “I had much bigger crowds than he was drawing.”
He went on to knock Jay Z’s use of the “F-word” at the Clinton event, and yes, he did in fact riff on this during the campaign too.
Ivanka Leaves Call With Reporters To Avoid Uncomfortable Questions
White House adviser and first daughter Ivanka Trump co-hosted a conference call with reporters Tuesday, walking out when she got questions she didn’t like, according to a Tuesday CBS News report.
The call was officially in preparation for “White House Sports and Fitness Day.”
One reporter asked Ivanka about the Chinese trademarks awarded to her company. Per Politico, an aide quickly diverted the question to the press office.
The next reporter asked about President Donald Trump’s fitness regimen after Dr. Ronny Jackson advised him to lose some weight earlier this year. That inquiry was a bridge too far–Ivanka reportedly ducked off the call to “step out for another meeting.”
After Ivanka’s cut and run, another reporter asked if first lady Melania Trump, who has not been seen in public since May 10, would be at the event. The press aide reportedly did not answer and Melania kept up her streak with a no-show at Tuesday’s festivities.
Trump Brags About Classified Syrian Battle At Manhattan Fundraiser
Though the White House has taken pains to keep a February U.S.-Russia skirmish in Syria under wraps, President Donald Trump had no such reservations at a Wednesday fundraiser in Manhattan where he bragged that American troops took out hundreds of Russians in as little as ten minutes, according to a Tuesday Politico report.
According to the New York Times, the fighting actually lasted about four hours, leaving 300 to 400 pro-Assad troops dead.
Per Politico, the fundraiser took place in midtown’s Lotte New York Palace Hotel where top donors could get a ticket for $50,000 per person.
Trump also reportedly patted himself on the back for moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, saying that he does not blame other presidents for lacking the courage needed to go through with the aggressive move.
The event reportedly raised $5 million to be used for both Trump’s campaign and the RNC.
After Aide’s Morbid Joke, Trump Leads Nashville Crowd In Booing John McCain
President Donald Trump led the crowd at a campaign-style rally in Nashville on Tuesday in booing Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) as he, again, attacked the senior senator for his “no” vote on repealing and replacing Obamacare last year.
“We had it done folks, it was done, and then early in the morning somebody turned their hand in the wrong direction,” Trump said, referencing McCain without using his name. “The person that voted that way only talked repeal and replace. He campaigned on it.
The jabs on Tuesday evening were the first time Trump has spoken publicly about McCain since it was reported that one of the aides on his communications team made a morbid joke about McCain “dying” during an internal White House meeting. McCain was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer last year and has been in Arizona recovering from treatment in recent weeks.
Rather than apologize for the remark or discipline the staffer, Kelly Sadler, the White House has used the incident to crack down on leaks by decreasing the number of people invited to participate in daily communications briefings and reportedly making plans to downsize the communications department.
North Korea Won’t Give Up Nukes, Offers Hamburgers As A Compromise
A new CIA report reveals that North Korea does not intend to give up their nuclear stockpile any time soon—though they may open a western burger chain in Pyongyang to soften the blow, according to a Tuesday NBC News report.
The hamburger concession is reportedly both a nod to President Donald Trump’s love of fast food, as well as a cheeky reference to Trump’s 2016 statement about wanting to talk nuclear weapons with Kim Jong Un while “eating a hamburger on a conference table.”
Per NBC, the CIA report came out at the same time as a new paper by Stanford professor Siegfried Hecker who, having toured the North Korean nuclear facilities four times, says it could take them 15 years to dismantle everything.
Talks about minor concessions are reportedly ongoing, the United States taking human rights demands off the table while North Korea ignores the presence of U.S. troops in South Korea.
The summit between the two countries’ leaders, initially scheduled for June 12 in Singapore, was officially cancelled last week, though emissaries have continued diplomatic trips and talks, leaving the event’s fate in limbo.

Avenatti Leaks Emails, Claims That WSJ Sat On Stormy Payment Story For Months
Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti released emails Tuesday which he claims reveal that the Wall Street journal knew of Michael Cohen’s $130,000 hush money payment during the 2016 campaign, but chose not to publish the story, according to a Tuesday Business Insider report.
A Wall Street Journal spokesperson denied the claims. “The claim we held any reporting regarding Stormy Daniels is false and outrageous,” spokesman Steve Severinghaus told Business Insider. “In fact, the Journal broke the news of the $130k payout to her, arranged by Michael Cohen.”
The emails reveal correspondence between Wall Street Journal reporter Joe Palazzolo and Daniels’ lawyer at the time, Keith Davidson, who oversaw the agreement with Cohen.
The exchange occurred less than a month after the hush money payment, and resulted in an almost immediate Wall Street Journal story about Karen McDougal, a former Playboy bunny who claims to have had an affair with President Donald Trump.
The Journal’s breaking news story about Daniels was not published until January 2018.
Avenatti’s email release seems to be in retaliation for a recent Wall Street Journal story that painted him as a hindrance to federal prosecutors trying to obtain information about Cohen’s hush money payment to Daniels.
