not a bad resume, but still, how many jobs was he passed on? I think he is a very good actor too, but unfortunately, he was told by his agent that his dreads were getting him looked over for roles and at that time, he wasnt willing to cut them

The hair and being Rasta. They don't respect our views and think we are dirty. It's like you are immediately a Bushman. But that is what they know so it doesn't bother me. They find it hard to believe that I was successful in corporate America with my hair.
 
That is why I call the growth period of your hair the trials. You will go through so much as your hair grows that if you keep them you have been through it. But like the song says" the more my locs grow more fake friends go"

So wait. People are taking the natural formation of their locs and applying bleach to it then they wonder why something happens. Every time I begin to get comfortable with everyone having locs people do things that let me know they don't understand what having locs represent.
 
Oh nah my nigga, u gonna have to realize locs like any other hair style is just that, a hair style to a lot of people.

The funny shit is, alot of people (youtubers) that I've come across would say you're defeating the purpose of having dreads by having manicured locs and not letting them grow naturally.

I catch some heat the 3 times a year that I get my locs manicured so to speak but with my length it is hard for anyone to say anything. But it is still a natural process.
 
Sometimes it just feels good to have someone else wash my hair and massage my scalp. My wife helps but she gets tired because of the process.

I'm not on that freeform nazi shit, cuz I've separated a few locs that were growing too big, it what it is. We all have our own journey, I can't shit on a nigga for doing what he does with his dreads, cuz that's not my journey, I'm not in the position to judge that man.
