I guess this can go here till more casting news comes out
Misha Collins, widely recognized for his role as Castiel in Supernatural, will play Harvey Dent aka Two-Face in the Gotham Knights TV series.
Supernatural star Misha Collins will appear in the upcoming Gotham Knights TV series as Harvey Dent aka Two-Face.
Collins broke this news on his Twitter, tweeting out an image of what appears to be an action figure of Aaron Eckhart's Two-Face as he was portrayed in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. "I've asked if my version of the character could be wearing a beige trench coat over the grey suit," tweeted Collins, referencing his beloved Supernatural character Castiel. The actor joked that he may be uncomfortable appearing on camera without the apparel with which he has become synonymous.
Collins is the latest addition to the cast of Gotham Knights which continues to grow its roster of Bat-Family members and villains. While next to nothing is known about the upcoming show, the initial announcement confirmed that the story will take place after the death of Batman. The brief synopsis states that the series will follow Bruce Wayne's "rebellious adopted son" who forges an alliance with the children of the children of the Caped Crusader's rogues gallery when they're all framed for his murder. This unlikely team will seemingly step up to prevent their city from descending into chaos and assume the title of the Gotham Knights.
These niggaz just keep trying do overs....
Well if first don't succeed and succeed and succeed......try again.
The thing is..... They not gonna "give up" like the whole notion of not making no more movies isn't an option.
They're going to continue to make movies....I just get frustrated with the reboots.....
Either they gonna have to keep telling the same stories...
Butcher the stories....
Or just jump in with a fully established justice league/teen titans/ and just assume a whole lotta back story to jump into some new plot lines for the movies.
Most people know these characters enough that if you gonna reboot them.... Just have them deep into their careers....we don't need first time meetings. Everybody knows each other, everybody has history, just get with the big bad and tell the story
They are clueless as to what constitutes quality....them allowing folks that have fucked shit up to get opportunity after opportunity to continue to fuck shit up is the insulting part. They think folks are just gonna continue to support offa name recognition of the characters alone.. and sure they might not flop completely.. but they quality aint there
They are clueless as to what constitutes quality....
Corporation doesn't understand what it is that fans actually value and it clouds their decision making
I think they really got their heads up their asses metrics.. They think toys, franchising, marketing, target audience, and put that over top of telling the best story. They cant be THAT clueless to where they dont hear folks saying the animation squad is on point but the live action is shit.. They HAVE to have heard that at some stage.. seems like It's just wilful ignorance at this point
I mean maybe would have loved it if they continued the story maaaaybe I was hyped that maybe they’d build off of him but then that was it. I fucking hated dark knight rises. But they so clueless they literally called a cop named John Blake have a legal first name of "Robin" and thought fans would love that
