my biggest gripe with JL was that it was like 5 movies into one. They didnt take the time to properly flesh out the characters. I mean, we know superman and batman, but the cyborg and the flash backstories really needed some time to breathe.
 
Doomsday was BVS, and I think the end of that mostly fell on Lex...

Lex was just, I dunno... He was kinda off. But oddly enough I'd like to see his character again.

I think the issue with BVS was everybody's motivation. It just seemed reasons to push the action....I think they all did well with what they had.... And all the action sequences were top notch. But the stakes never felt real and point of it all was light imo.

BVS v still gets a good 7 from me. There's a bunch of ways it could have been better. But it is highly watchable going back. Like I enjoyed myself.

JL was much better this time around. I agree they rushed getting the team together.... But at the same time the reason for them getting together was much better motivation imo than BVS. Also, I don't have many issues with Steppenwolf. I think he looked better on my tv than in the theaters TBH.

The movie definitely cuz have done more story.... But it was pushing the action... Which again wasn't that bad to me.

I dunno...I just came I here to say I spent my day watching them, and enjoyed them way more watching all three back to back than I ever did watching them solo.
 
I still love bvs. Fuck that whedon justice league though. I tried my hardest to see the positives in it, but the more I replayed it the more I hated it. Same with aquaman.

I agree almost 100% with your assessment of Batman vs Superman. I felt when I watched it in the theater it wasn't that bad and rewatching it again I come away with that same feeling.

Justice League though............

I maybe need to watch it again but, that was kind of a mess
 
I honestly think it's watching all 3.

Maybe it'll hit different watching the Snyder cut right after watching the first 2.... But they definitely compliment it better than just watching JL by itself.

This was admittedly only the third time I've watched JL.

Once in the movies. Once I caught it half way thru at a friends where we all were just laughing and talking over the movie.... Especially about the mustache.

But yesterday, I started early and just watched all 3. It's honestly a good watch if you do it like that
 
Rewatched Batman v Superman and fuck I damn there had to pop a red bull to force myself through the 2nd and 3rd hour. They really fucked that movie up by just having a ton of non interesting slow dialogue and shit. I gave it a higher rating the first time I saw it, now it's definitely dropped. I still remember walking put the theater the only one who liked it out of the group of 15 I was with. I was mad too because I thought everybody was being debbie downers but I owe them an apology. Lol

And isn't this Snyder uncut movie?? Which makes me wonder how much better the mini series is really going to be.

Aquaman, WW, Shazam all been a turning point for DC and only movies I'd recommend since Nolan touched DC.

You telling me you needed a red bull for Batman fighting superman, Batman at the warehouse, and all three of them fighting doomsday

I don't believe that for a second. I can give you the dialogue, cuz I myself will admit how the way the action up was kinda lazy or forced. But if you needed a redbull to get through those three scenes, imma call bullshit

I said that wrong the first 2 hours I need the redbull for expecially after a rewatch, don't get me wrong the last part of the movie when Superman and Batman finally clash and the rest of the movie is the only time i legit had fun and trust me bro I'm a huge DC comic/movie fan way more then Marvel so I went into it as a fan and was not happy with the outcome. I wish this movie had been good, my bros will tell you how excited I was for this ever since the first announcement. Shit I have 2 blu-ray copies and a 4k copy, trust me I wanted to love this shit. Lol

If your executives screws up your work and now gets enough to blindfold themselves from the money-shedding wreck they caused, I would be fucking glad if Lebron gets one more stupid year safe instead complaining about how his team screwed up his record over the past few years. It's called a fucking growth!
